Caltrans today plans to close the left southbound lane of Highway 101 from Highway 12 to Steele Lane in Santa Rosa to allow crews to repair drainage inlets.
The lane will be closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Caltrans said.
Similar north and southbound closures will occur over the next three to four weeks for the repairs to the drains in south and northbound lanes.
Caltrans officials could not be reached to explain how the drains were damaged and what the cost is.
