You almost always can count on the same stretches of roads across the county to flood during a heavy rainstorm, so here’s a list of roads to avoid during today’s storm and future gully washers. According to the CHP and Sonoma County roads department, they’re either flooded already, have standing water on parts or are likely to flood:

–Green Valley Road at Atascadero and Green Valley creeks

–Highway 1 west of Valley Ford

–Highway 12 at Highway 121 in Schellville

–Highway 101 in the Rohnert Park construction zone

–Highway 116 south of Forestville

–Mark West Station Road at Starr Road

–Pepper Road from Stony Point to Liberty roads

–Rohnert Park Expressway from Stony Point Road east to Rohnert Park city limits

–Sanford Road at Occidental Road

–Slusser Road north of River Road

–Todd Road at the sod farm

–Valley Ford Freestone Road near Highway 1

–Valley Ford Road at Bloomfield

–Valley Ford Road at Highway 1

–Wohler Road at Little Wohler Bridge
