Santa Rosa motorcycle police officers will be keeping an eye out Monday through next Sunday for traffic violators at West Third Street at Stony Point Road, which was tied for the ninth-highest number of collisions last year with seven.

As part of a special enforcement program, officers particularly will be looking for drivers not wearing seat belts, who are illegally using cell phones, are speeding, running red lights or committing lane violations.

I wish they would “target” the Santa Rosa traffic light controller for the idiotic traffic light settings.

Your headline is incorrect: Stony Point and West Third is, well, west, not east.
