Sonoma County plans to smooth out the bumps and holes along four roads this month through paving projects.

Steve Urbanek, pavement preservation manager for the county’s Transportation and Public Works Department, said, weather permitting, the work should start in late June and may go into early July. The roads are:

–Leveroni Road, from Arnold Drive to the Sonoma city limits.

–Bodega Highway, from Jonive to Sexton roads.

–Bennett Valley Road, from Grange Road to the Santa Rosa city limits.

–Mark West Springs Road, from Mark West Lodge west one mile.

The work is costing a total of $2.7 million in federal stimulus money.
