Three Sonoma County road projects this week are expected to cause minor traffic delays, and the county roads department suggests you find an alternate route if possible:

–Bodega Highway, from Spring Hill to Ferguson roads, today through Thursday, crews will grind out deteriorated pavement and put down new asphalt.

–Calistoga Road, from Porter Creek to Plum Ranch roads, crews today and Tuesday will be clearing ditches and landslides and then Wednesday and Thursday will be doing paving work.

–Westside Road, from River to Wohler roads, crews Tuesday and Wednesday will be doing brush cutting.

Ok- but what was with 101 North this morning around 10 am? Stop and go from E Washington in Petaluma- apparently clear to Santa Rosa according to my iPhone. And NOTHING about it on traffic radio…

Sam: No, there was a two car accident, northbound on the hill just north of Petaluma. When I drove past, northbound was down to one lane as the cars were being cleared from the highway. Southbound was backed up all the way into Rohnert Park due to people rubbernecking. Didn’t see how far back northbound was backed up.

I covered that in my traffic reports on 1350 KSRO we had slow traffic in Petaluma 101 n and 101 n through Rohnert Park..heavier than usual. My reports air every 10 minutes on the 5′s until 9a…have a great day Doug Dodds 1350 KSRO traffic reporter
