Several road projects will affect traffic around Sonoma County this week:

–Caltrans is shutting Commerce Boulevard under Highway 101 in Rohnert Park from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday to Thursday this week and next to allow construction crews to drill and pour eight 100-foot pilings for a new highway overpass.

–The county roads department will be paving part of Porter Creek Road near the Mark West Springs Quarry today through Thursday.

–Salmon Creek Road will have traffic control today and Wednesday for brush cutting.

–Sonoma Mountain Road off Old Adobe Road will have traffic control this week and next as crews begin work to redo the portion turned to dirt last year. The county experimented with the road base last year, and it didn’t work because of the base’s mix. To read more about it, CLICK HERE.

–West Dry Creek Road, from Westside to Lambert Bridge roads, will have traffic control for brush cutting.
