It’s a key route between northern Santa Rosa and Calistoga. It’s bumpy, full of potholes but it’s about to be improved.

Sonoma County roads crews will be out this week grinding out damaged sections of Porter Creek Road and repaving them.

The work is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Thursday, with one-way traffic control in effect, so there’ll be some traffic delays.
