Sonoma County roads crews are out on Petaluma Avenue near Sonoma this week, grinding out damaged roadway and putting down new asphalt.

The work is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Thursday, and minor traffic delays are possible.

    I just read about the guy that got killed in Sonoma. He was riding a bike and got hit buy a big rig because he was going to turn left and rode into the path of the truck.
    How hard would it be to pass a law that makes bike riders ride facing traffic? I think this would give the bikes a chance to see what is coming at them. Because of wind noise they can’t really hear so having the advantage of sight might save some lives.
