Oh Look, another motorcyclist “crackdown”

No SUV driver crackdown, NO! No, that might violate the rights of idiots that drive living-rooms on wheels, that are designed to be “silent” to road “noise.” These ——-can bounce off curbs and hit
whoever!!! BUT NO, WE GOTTA STOP THOSE EVIL MOTORCYCLE RIDERS!!!

I see my civil rights being violated but I’m part of the class that the majority hates so it’s cool with them!

I say this:

First they came for the communists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Yup! It APPLIES!!!

I sure wish they would crack down on the noise factor of motorcycles. Why do the citizens put up with this noise pollution? Something really needs to be done!

As a motorcyclist that has gone down and been in many close calls from unaware drivers this is really appreciated. They are being fair going after both sides of the problem, the un-aware / un-caring drivers and the reckless motorcyclist. Nice to see it is not one sided as most of the times it can be!

10% were motorcycles,
how about we target aggressive and distracted drivers.

PPD can write lot’s of tickets catching speeders going S on Lakeville from East D St to the freeway. Seldom does one see anyone going under 40 in the 30 zone.

First Street Bus Transit Mall traffic violations can be successfully contested.

The traffic control signage is deficient, in my opinion. I am a CA registered engineers with decades of traffic experience.

The fact that Numerous drivers have driven thru the transit mall is prima fascie evidence signage is inadequate. You may want to take a photo showing the view along Santa Rosa Av or D ST.

Not complying with a traffic control sign is not a violation if the sign is not clearly viable.

Why is Tuesday such a big deal with motorcycles? I ride everyday…guess I’ll ride stupidly on the other six,just not on Tuesdays.
