SMART rail work will close Todd Road in south Santa Rosa this weekend, starting Friday night and continuing through Sunday, at the train tracks.

It’s part of the rail district upgrading the tracks through Sonoma County. Crews are going through the county tearing out the old crossings and putting in new track. To do so, they need to shut all lanes at the crossing.

The crews move to Scenic Avenue between Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park on Tuesday and Wednesday, shutting that street.
