More people run that red in an hour than most intersections see in a week. And no, getting "trapped" in there because of traffic by the gas station is no excuse. The driver is responsible for making sure the intersection is clear before entering. Plus there will be plenty of fun busting up drunken fights among the scumbags who go to MD market and then drink it up at the laundromat next door. Every light cycle it happens over and over again. I've seen cops watch people do it, maybe they'll actually cite them this week.
