So Jennyjones, you feel that protecting our innocent families from unlicensed and drunk drivers is oppressive? Really?! Well I would gladly pay in taxes, to keep people who do or support this type of behavior , rather than blood.

While I support the PPD and their efforts I wonder where in the heck the state gets the money to give away for these efforts.

California is approaching junk bond status and has an unfunded public employees pension liability that CURRENTLY exceeds 10K PER resident.

So ask yourself do you have your 10K to cough out? I seriously doubt it! I dont! It is going to get really ugly really fast.

yes the captain want to have DUI checkpoints, 1st they are a huge bonus to the cops, 2nd they keep people accustomed to illigal serches and detention . Guilty untill proven innocent mentality

The federal money just paid for one officer and more in a short handed department. The Petaluma police deal oversee violent death and maiming from guns, cars, trucks, knives, etc. Needed is vigilance and protection of the public by Law Enforcement.
No insurance, no license, don’t drive.
No honey, don’t use!
