Note: Sonoma County has issued another road closure notice. Verano Avenue at Highway 12 in Sonoma was closed at 6 a.m. due to a structure fire, reopening at 8 a.m., but expect delays throughout the day as fire crews remain on the scene.

This week’s lane closures, courtesy of Caltrans:

Santa Rosa

Highway 12 from Midway Drive to Brush Creek Road, left turn lane, 9 p.m. Thursday through 5 a.m. Friday; also 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Saturday, utility work

Highway 101 southbound from Bicentennial Way to Steele Lane, right shoulder work, 7 p.m. Thursday through 6 a.m. Friday, also 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Saturday, electrical work

Cloverdale

–Highway 101 northbound from Dutcher Creek Road/Theresa Drive to South Cloverdale, right shoulder work, 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday, also 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, electrical work

Petaluma

–Highway 101 southbound from just south of East Washington Street to 1,600 feet south of pedestrian overpass, right shoulder, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, tree work.

    Thanks for the heads up.
    Is there anyway to have Smart Rail contractor – Stacy and Witbeck to give advance notices on which rail section (between crossings) they will be working on for the week so that drivers will not get stuck on such rail section as Guerneville Rd. – College Ave. having to merge into one lane during commute hours. Had I known that, I would use alternate route.
    Their construction updates from sonomamarintrain.org website are not accurate.
    Work was in progress on March 4 instead of March 26 to April 6.
