If you’re one of those people whose lives get easier once the temporary bridge in Asti is built, you’ll want to read THE UPDATE posted this morning by Mary Jo Winter in Cloverdale, complete with a photo from Supervisor Mike McGuire.

He reports that construction on the Asti Summer Crossing has begun and should be completed within the next two weeks. Until money can be found to build a permanent bridge, County Public Works crews install a temporary one each summer that remains in place until late fall.
