The Petaluma Police Department will be conducting two DUI and driver’s license checkpoints 6 p.m.-3 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at undisclosed locations to detect and deter impaired driving and suspended/unlicensed drivers.

These operations are being conducted to raise the awareness of the dangers of impaired driving by educating motorists, arresting impaired drivers and suspended/unlicensed drivers. Funding comes from a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

    The Mystic will have great music on Friday night with Poor Man’s Whiskey..I hope people are aware that a designated driver will be required…
