As of today, there is a new Road Warrior watching out for North Bay drivers. By way of introduction, I am Matt Brown, Press Democrat staff writer. I have covered transportation issues in Sonoma County, and I am interested in big projects such as the Highway 101 expansion and SMART commuter rail. I have driven all over the North Bay, mostly in an electric car, and I have commuted from Sonoma County to San Francisco.

I recognize that I stand on the shoulders of giants. Linda Castrone, and before her Jim Fremgen, have served this post magnificently by informing readers and drivers of transportation matters that we care about, answering questions and facilitating a dialogue.
