Here is the road conditions report from the Sonoma County Public Works department:

All road crews have been out in the morning hours over the weekend sanding  roads for ice. No accidents or closures have been reported. Nighttime temperatures are expected to warm up some this week, which may reduce the risk of icy roadways – there is a slight chance of a shower Wednesday night.

This week, road crews will be assisting Cal Fire with roadside brush and vegetation removal along Burnside Rd and Stewarts Point Skaggs Springs Rd on Tuesday and Wednesday. One lane traffic controls will be set up for both projects. All other road crews will be responding to public requests, filling potholes and cutting roadside brush for sight distance.

Delays can again be expected this week on Porter Creek Rd west of Franz Valley Rd while the contractor continues work on the bridge replacement project. Work hours continue to be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with up to 20 minute delays when equipment is on the road.

The Sonoma County Water Agency has a water and sewer line replacement project currently underway in the south Santa Rosa area – this week Gloria Drive between Westwood Dr and West Ave will be closed to through traffic during the day. No work will be scheduled next week due to the Christmas Holiday.
