It’s a pretty light week of road maintenance in the North Bay due to the holiday.

In Sonoma County:

A bridge crew will be wrapping up work on a retaining wall repair along Monte Vista Terrace this week, and beginning a repair of an expansion joint on the Westside Road bridge just west of Healdsburg, between Kinley Drive and West Dry Creek Road. One lane traffic controls will be in effect for this project. All other road crews will be responding to pothole and vegetation requests.

In Mendocino County:

Route 1 Replacement of the Greenwood Creek Bridge will continue.  One-way traffic control with a temporary signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 1 Replacement of a culvert with a bridge at Dunn Creek will continue.  One-way traffic control with a temporary signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.
Route 101 Caltrans will perform slide repairs near the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge (near Frog Woman Rock).  Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

CHP advises drivers to exercise extra caution when driving on the holiday. Drive safely and have a great holiday.
