In Sonoma County, work will continue this week, weather dependent on the Porter Creek Rd Bridge Replacement Project. Scheduled work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, up to 30 minute delays can be expected when equipment is working in the roadway.

A bridge crew has completed a retaining wall replacement project on Fort Ross Road. Today they will be completing erosion control work. Tuesday through Friday the crew will be replacing a failed culvert and placing rip rap on Kruse Ranch Road between State Hwy 1 and Seaview Road – traffic delays up to 15 minutes can be expected when the crew is excavating in the roadway. Additionally, guard rail repair work is scheduled for this week along Dry Creek Road near the Lake Sonoma Dam, Stony Point Rd and Mecham Road.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, road crews will be assisting Cal Fire crews clearing roadside brush and vegetation along Burnside Road, between Barnett Valley Road and Bloomfield Road, and along Stewarts Point Skaggs Springs Road. One lane traffic controls will be in affect at both locations. A traffic paint and sign crew will be installing sight posts this week along Grange Road as follow-up to recently completed traffic striping.

In Rohnert Park, trenching work will continue on Santa Alicia Drive to Seed Farm. During the trenching activity, the contractor is also working on Avram Avenue replacing water line services. Work is also occurring on Seed Farm Drive where the contractor is installing dewatering wells.

Two-way traffic control will be in place on Seed Farm Drive during this time and flagged traffic control will be in place on Santa Alicia Drive and Avram Avenue. Access to City Hall and residents on Avram Avenue and Santa Alicia Drive will be restricted to either Commerce Boulevard or Santa Alicia Drive pending the exact location of work on Avram. Traffic controls will be in place between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily Monday through Friday.

In Lake County:

Route 175 ‐ AT&T of Santa Rosa has been issued a Caltrans Encroachment permit for utility repairs from Anderson Springs Road to Bush Street beginning Jan. 27.  Work hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

In Mendocino County:

Route 1 ‐ Replacement of the Greenwood Creek Bridge will continue.  One-way traffic control with a temporary signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 1 ‐ Guardrail repairs at various locations from Albion to Little River Airport Road will continue Jan. 28.  Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 1 ‐ Replacement of a culvert with a bridge at Dunn Creek will continue.  One-way traffic control with a temporary signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 101 ‐ Caltrans will perform slide repairs near the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge (near Frog Woman Rock).  Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns.

Route 101 ‐ Bridge rehabilitation at the “green” Russian River Bridge will continue Jan. 27.  Work hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays.  One way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

Route 101 ‐ AT&T of Santa Rosa has been issued a Caltrans Encroachment permit for utility work at the Mignon “Minnie” Stoddard Lilley Memorial Bridge and the Elizabeth Jane Rosewarne Memorial Bridge on Jan. 27.  Work hours are 8 a.m. to noon.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 128 ‐ Vegetation removal in preparation for culvert rehabilitation at various locations from Wendling Street to 0.7 mile east of Mountain House Road will begin Jan. 27.  Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 162 ‐ Bridge rehabilitation at the Outlet Creek Bridge will begin Jan. 29.  Work hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekdays.  One way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 175 ‐ Bridge rehabilitation at the Russian River Bridge will begin , Jan. 29.  Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weekdays.  One way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

Route 253 ‐ Willow Creek Water District of Ukiah has been issued a Caltrans Encroachment permit for utility repairs  near Stipp Lane beginning Jan. 27.  Work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.
