Here is a list of Sonoma County road projects this week, from Rob Silva, road maintenance division manager:

This week the grinding/paving crew will move to River Road between Slusser Road and Guerneville. Today work will be done around the intersection of River Road and Slusser Road, Tuesday and Wednesday near the town of Guerneville. On Thursday we will be grinding and paving at the intersection of Old Redwood Highway and Eastside Road in Healdsburg. Minor delays can be expected with flaggers handling one lane traffic controls.

The traffic crew will be completing center line and fog line striping early this week in the Healdsburg area, today along Mill Creek Road. Beginning tomorrow the striping crew will be moving to West County, starting with Ferguson and Mill Station roads. Another crew will be stenciling Stop Bar legends in the Cotati area.

The bridge crew will continue work this week building a viaduct on Austin Creek Road. The road remains closed through construction between Pearl Street and Kramer Road to all but local traffic.

The culvert crew will be completing a culvert replacement today on Westside Road. Beginning Tuesday, the crew will begin installing sub drains under the pavement on Mecham Road at the intersection of Hammel Road. One lane traffic controls will be in effect for this work.

Taking advantage of expected cooler conditions and fog this week, the Sonoma crew will be mowing and trimming back brush alongside Sonoma Mountain Road this week between Bennett Valley Road and Pressley Road. This work is being done in preparation of upcoming pavement leveling and chip seal work scheduled for later this summer. Expect one lane traffic controls Monday through Thursday.
