A reader named Tom writes:

I noticed about 3 weeks ago that all the material and equipment were moved on 101 in Windsor where the sound wall is being installed. There is a section not yet complete and was wondering why it is all gone.

The response is from Caltrans spokesman Allyn Amsk:

About a month ago the sound wall masonry sub-contractor relocated their scaffolding to the U.S. 101/State Route 116 widening project in Petaluma. They are currently completing work for a sound wall adjacent to northbound U.S. 101 between SR 116 and Caulfield Lane. The sub-contractor, of course, will return to complete work for the Windsor sound walls. We expect that construction for the Airport Boulevard Interchange will be complete by the end of July. Sound walls will be completed this year.
