Caltrans has scheduled an emergency closure of southbound Highway 101 in northern Sonoma County Tuesday afternoon.
Southbound Highway 101 will be closed between the Mendocino-Sonoma county line and Highway 128 from 4 p.m. until midnight for a drainage repair and paving project, the agency said.
Drivers can use Geysers Road as a detour during the closure.
