About 50 miles of Sonoma County-maintained roads are on track to get some type of major repairs next spring and summer. The roads include 14 that got the headlines last week when the county Board of Supervisors approved $6.5 million for that work, but there are several more, including some that have needed help for years. Sonoma County is proposing to build a roundabout on Arnold Drive at Agua Caliente Road, the entrance to the Hanna Boys Center, in the Sonoma Valley. The roundabout, projected to cost $2 million if approved, would be built next spring and would be the first one on a major county-maintained road, officials said. Caltrans today corrected the hours when crews this weekend will be repaving Highway 116 from Adobe Road in Petaluma to Arnold Drive in Sonoma. Tonight’s work will be from 8 until 8 a.m. Saturday. Sunday night’s work will be from 7 until 6 a.m. Monday. The work will continue next week with crews starting at 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and continuing until 5 o’clock the following morning. Then 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Sunday nights. Then 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and next Wednesday nights.
