Smart driving for teens, with a little help from the CHP

The CHP is offering a free class for newly licensed teen drivers to help them be safe on the roads. The two-hour class is offered at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Rohnert Park office. Call 588-1400 to get your name in or to get more information. Five-peat for Petaluma police

It’s a five-peat for Petaluma police. For the fifth year in a row, the department was honored by the California Law Enforcement Challenge  for having the best  program of cracking down on impaired drivers among the state’s police departments.
