Planning to drive through the intersection of Stony Point and Sebastopol roads in Santa Rosa? Better be careful. It again ranks No. 1 in the city for highest number of reported collisions. Here are Santa Rosa’s most dangerous intersections, based on the number of collisions at each in 2011 as reported by the Santa Rosa Police Department. Santa Rosa intersection being monitored by police

Santa Rosa motorcycle police officers will be keeping an eye out Monday through next Sunday for traffic violators at Corby Avenue at Hearn Avenue. Officer Jeff Adams said in a news release that officers particularly will be looking for drivers who run the red lights there, are not wearing seat belts, are illegally using cell phones, are speeding and are committing lane violations.

Mailbag: Fixing Hearn, Todd, Baker overpasses

Question: I’m sure this subject has surfaced before. Why have there been no improvements to the Baker, Hearn and Todd 101 overpasses? It seems strange that these major bottlenecks have not been improved as part of the 101 improvements. Hearn is the worst where cars are backed up onto the frwy trying to make the crossover.
