Caltrans on Wednesday night will close Highway 162, which runs from Highway 101 north of Willits to Covelo, for 24 hours to permit additional repairs to a section of the road that washed out in last month’s storms. The highway will be closed 7 p.m. Wednesday to 7 p.m. Thursday about 1.7 miles east of 101.
