Caltrans announced the following lane closures for this week: Highway 1 –One-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday from Shotgun Point and Sea Walk Drive on the northern Sonoma County coast for paving and striping work. Partial lane closure on Highway 128 for two weeks

Caltrans this week and next plans one-way traffic control on Highway 128 at the Geyserville Bridge to allow crews to work on a retaining wall. The highway will be down to one lane from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday until Sept. 28. More paving work on Highways 128, 53

Caltrans on Friday plans to start repaving a four-mile stretch of Highway 128 in the Boonville area, and it expects some traffic delays. The $1.5 million construction project will be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and is expected to last until the end of August. Caltrans plans road work this week on Highways 29, 101 and 128, and drivers can expect some traffic delays. –Highway 29, from Highway 128 in Calistoga to two-tenths of a mile north of Silverado Trail, for grinding out bad sections of road and replacing with fresh pavement. Caltrans this week will be grinding “distressed sections” of Highway 128 in the Geyserville area and then repaving them. The work will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. along various stretches, and one-way traffic control will be in effect, so expect some traffic delays. Hwy. 128 bridges completed

Caltrans announced Wednesday completion of two new bridges on Highway 128 between Healdsburg and Calistoga, ending a headache for drivers who used that road. The Redwood and Maacama Creek bridges, which had been under construction since summer 2010, are wider than the bridges they replaced. Total cost for both new bridges was $7 million.
