More crashes, fewer tickets in Sonoma County

1 arrest at DUI checkpoint

Saturday night's DUI/license checkpoint in downtown Middletown in Lake County yielded one arrest, the CHP reported. Sgt. David Stark said 251 vehicles were stopped on Highway 29, eight drivers were given sobriety tests and one was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Seven drivers were cited for not having licenses.
