SRJC intersection getting extra scrutiny from SRPD

Santa Rosa police this coming week will monitor one of the city’s most collision-prone intersections — Mendocino Avenue at Pacific Avenue, near SRJC, which  last year was tied for third with 10 collisions. Planning to drive through the intersection of Stony Point and Sebastopol roads in Santa Rosa? Better be careful. It again ranks No. 1 in the city for highest number of reported collisions. Santa Rosa traffic police officers this Monday through Sunday will monitor one of the city’s eighth most dangerous intersections — Mendocino Avenue at Pacific Avenue, which last year was tied with eight traffic collisions.
