Trying to make sense out of getting around
Santa Rosa motorcycle police officers will be keeping an eye out Monday through next Sunday for traffic violators at Dutton Avenue at Sebastopol Road in the city’s Roseland neighborhood. Officer Jeff Adams said in a news release that officers particularly will be looking for drivers who run the red lights there, are not wearing seat belts, are illegally using cell phones, are speeding and are committing lane violations.
A couple of things to keep in mind while driving Wednesday — Cinco de Mayo: –Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa will be completely closed from 4 to 10 p.m. from Dutton Avenue to Burbank Avenue for the Cinco de Mayo celebration in the Roseland area. –The county’s Avoid the 13 DUI task force will be out looking for drunken drivers around the county.
