I-80 reopens between Davis, Sacramento

  Interstate 80 at the Yolo Causeway is open again after being closed for about six hours because of a massive police search for a gunman who fired shots at a business in West Sacramento, carjacked a pickup, fired at pursuing police officers and crashed the stolen pickup on the causeway before fleeing. Hwy. 50 to Tahoe to be closed for 2 weeks

Highway 50 on the way to South Lake Tahoe will be closed for about two weeks in mid- to late April or into early May for the replacement of 72-year-old rock walls at Echo Summit.
