SMART road closures in Santa Rosa

SMART rail line construction work continues this week in Santa Rosa, and for about the next month certain roads will be completely closed for a few days at a time where they cross the railroad tracks. SMART road closures arrive in Santa Rosa

Note to readers: This column has been updated. SMART rail line construction work has arrived in Santa Rosa, and that means for the next few weeks certain roads will be completely closed for a few days at a time where the streets cross the railroad tracks. Here’s one from a reader: Question: I wonder why the intersection of Seventh Street and Mendocino Avenue does not have a green arrow light for left turns. Heading east; pretty bad.
