I-80 reopens between Davis, Sacramento

  Interstate 80 at the Yolo Causeway is open again after being closed for about six hours because of a massive police search for a gunman who fired shots at a business in West Sacramento, carjacked a pickup, fired at pursuing police officers and crashed the stolen pickup on the causeway before fleeing. Check out these $$$ rest stops on way to Tahoe

Ahh, nothing but the finest for Californians — as long as taxpayers are paying. Sacramento’s KCRA-TV is reporting on the colored tile patterns, textured stall doors and log-cabin and stone facade at Caltrans’ year-old, eastbound and west bound rest stops at Interstate 80 and Gold Run.
