Starting Monday, construction will begin on Wilfred Avenue between Langner Avenue and Stony Point Road in Rohnert Park. When construction activities occupy one traffic lane, the other traffic lane will be used for vehicle traffic. Construction personnel at each end of the work zone will alternate the eastbound and westbound traffic through the construction work zone. Motorists should expect delays of up to 10 minutes and are encouraged to take alternate routes, such as Rohnert Park Expressway. The work is expected to be completed in early October. Work hours are expected to be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
