This morning at approximately 10 a.m. Caltrans closed access to the intersection of State Route 12 and 121 due to flooding. The intersection and access roads in the area will be closed until flooding has abated. Check 511.org for an estimated time for opening.

Caltrans has currently closed three access points to the SR 12/121 intersection. Road closures are in place at:

• SR 116 and Arnold Drive
• SR 121 and A Street
• SR 12 at Watmaugh Road

Follow directions of maintenance workers and follow detour signs to reach your destination. The California Highway Patrol will be on site for traffic enforcement.

Update: The intersection was reopened at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Caltrans said.
