Petaluma police on Friday night will hold two DUI/license checkpoints.
The the first one will start a 6 p.m. and then at a point during the night it will be shut down and moved to the second location, which will run until 2 a.m. Saturday.
Neither location was being revealed by police, but that may change next time if Gov. Jerry Brown signs a bill by Assemblyman Michael Allen, D-Santa Rosa.
Allen’s measure, AB 1389, would require police to give the general location at least 48 hours before a checkpoint and the specific location at least two hours before.
