Starting tonight, Caltrans will re-pave Highway 101 between Steele Lane and Mendocino Avenue in Santa Rosa.
One southbound lane will be closed at 7 p.m. and a second at 10 p.m. All lanes are to reopen by 7 a.m. Saturday. Then crews will return Saturday night, again closing one lane at 7 and a second at 10, with all lanes reopening by 7 a.m. Sunday.
On Monday night, the crews shift to the northbound lanes, closing one lane at 7 and a second at 10, reopening by 5 a.m. Tuesday. On Tuesday night, they’ll be back to finish, again closing one lane at 7 and a second at 10.
Caltrans expects the crews to be able to pave all three lanes in each direction.
The re-paving is the latest step in the widening of 101 between Santa Rosa and Windsor.
