The CHP will be conducting a DUI/license checkpoint from 6 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday in Lake County.
The CHP said officers will be using state-of-the-art, hand-held breath devices to test suspected drivers for alcohol intoxication. Drug use experts also will be on hand to check for drug-impared drivers, the CHP said.
In a statement, Lt. Mark Loveless, CHP area commander, said traffic permitting, all drivers will be checked for possible DUI or license violations.
The location of the checkpoint was not disclosed Friday.
