Caltrans has canceled plans to shut Highway 116 under Highway 101 in Cotati this weekend.
The underpass was to be closed from Friday night to Sunday morning to allow construction crews to remove scaffolding.
Caltrans spokesman Robert Haus said the work was delayed because it hadn’t received final approval.
