You’ve heard it and probably said it yourself: There’s never a cop around when you need one.

Well, today there was.

While waiting to walk across Mendocino Avenue at Fourth Street in downtown Santa Rosa, the light turned green and just at that instant a Mustang ran the red. But he didn’t get away. A Santa Rosa motorcycle officer had been waiting to cross Mendocino as well and immediately his flashing lights came on and he roared down Mendocino in pursuit. Justice delivered.
