This Saturday and next, Sonoma County road crews will be replacing the pavement on Todd Road from Highway 101 to just west of Standish Avenue in south Santa Rosa, so you’ll want to avoid the area.

Work hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturdays. Crews will grind off the top 4 inches of the old, deteriorating pavement and put down new asphalt, Rob Silva, the county’s road department operations manager, said in a statement.

“Because of the amount of local businesses in that area, it is best to do this work on consecutive Saturdays to avoid weekday traffic and minimize the impact on those businesses and the public,” he said.
