Santa Rosa police officers this week will monitor one of the city’s most dangerous intersections — Guerneville Road at West Steele Lane (in front of Whole Foods), which was tied last year for the 10th-highest number of collisions with six.

As part of a weekly special enforcement program, officers particularly will be looking for drivers not wearing seat belts, who are illegally using cell phones, are speeding, running red lights or committing lane violations.
