If you’re out driving this week, here are a few road work projects to be aware of because of likely traffic delays:

–Highway 29’s “Tunnel of Elms” in St. Helena, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. A tree crew will be pruning elm trees for PG&E Co., and one-way traffic control will be in effect.

–Mirabel Road, from Highway 116 to River Road. Sonoma County’s roads department will be out grinding out damaged sections of the road and repaving them. The work is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Mirabel’s traffic ranges from 4,000 to 8,000 vehicles a day.

–Porter Creek Road, east of Cooks and Stewarts, on Monday and Tuesday for culvert repair. One-way traffic control in effect.

–Stewarts Point-Skaggs Springs Road, Monday through Wednesday, various sections will be patched.

–St. Helena Road, Cal Fire work crews will be clearing brush along the road on Tuesday and Wednesday.

–Tilton Road, west of Sebastopol, Cal Fire will be clearing brush on Tuesday and Wednesday.
